Inflation has fallen to its lowest level for 15 months. The rate, as measured
by the consumer prices index (CPI), dropped last month to 3.4%.
It had been 3.6% in January. The other rate of inflation, the Retail Price
Index, fell by two points to 3.7%.
Darren Morgan from the Office for National statistics said falling energy
bills had helped bring the rate down.
