1. Please look for one current Fiscal policy news article online (ideally one which has a positive effect on the supply-side, i.e. something the government does to improve the efficiency of the economy through either cutting a tax, or through spending).

2. Look at some of the latest (Fiscal Policy)entries (31 in total) on the blog.

Please complete for this Friday and email me the link with a very brief description of what it is. I will put the best few articles on the blog.

Complete the Jan '07 past paper (Italy - the sick man of Europe). Attempt all questions except a ii) and e) for Wednesday 25th Nov. (this will be handed out on Monday to the group who did not get it on Friday).

Prep for Friday 13th 12 Eco

Revise the mindmaps for Unemployment and Eco growth for the test next week.

Plus the previous prep on eco growth, unemployment, inflation and interest rates for several countries. This should be in for Friday as well.

Prep for the first week back after half term

Mindmap test (10 mins) on Inflation (same as the Unemployment test - WITHOUT using any little mindmaps hidden in your folder!!!)

Find out the latest (or as near to the latest) unemployment, inflation, economic growth and interest rates for the following countries:

1. UK
2. Germany
3. France
4. USA
5. Japan
6. Russia
7. Brazil
8. China

And any other country that may interest you, e.g. Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong. For those who are keen you might want to see if you can get previous data as well, to show if they are improving or otherwise.

Both classes to complete for this Friday.
